It seems like India’s first prime minister is still ruling now according to Google India.

When you will search for Indian’s first prime minister it will show that face of Prime Minister Narendra Modi with the name of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru.

This surprising result was noticed this Wednesday. The mistake was only in the picture of the first prime minister, other information listed by Google was of Jawaharlal Nehru which is known be as India’s first Prime Minister.

The news has got the attention of local political and opposition parties so much that it made Congress social media in-charge Divya Spandana to comment

“@Google @GoogleIndia what algorithm of yours allows this?! You’re so full of junk-“, tweeted Spandana”

If you look into the details of Wikipedia then it has clearly listed all the prime ministers with their exact details and not even a single mistake can be pint out. But Google search results showed a totally different result that created quite a funny image of Google.

We don’t know what has gone wrong with Google but somebody who isn’t aware of this fact would really believe Narendra Modi as first prime minister of India.

The issue was corrected by Google India as soon as they came to know about it. Google rarely made mistakes like that. The search engine is famous worldwide and it is used by billions of People daily.

They have maintained the top position from all these years, even after the interference of big tech companies searches engine like “bing” which was released by Microsoft to counter Google which was successful in early days but failed to gain the attention of users.
