A man in India put his life on a stake to click a Selfie with a bear but it turned out the bear wasn’t as cooperative as he attacked him and mutilated him to death.
The incident took place on this Wednesday. Prabhu Bhatara wasn’t any photographer, he was roaming around some forest after returning from marriage and in a spur of the moment, he decided to take a snap with an injured bear.
Other passengers who were travelling along with him tried to stop him but his stubbornness caused him his life. It can be seen in the video how the bear attacked him using his paw and the grip was so strong that it didn’t even flinch from his position even after the interference of dog.
One eyewitness recorded the whole incident and the screams of people can be heard in the video. It can be seen in the video how Bhatara tried to save his life by fighting but in the end, beast killed the innocent one.
Bhatara Bhatara died on the spot,” forest ranger Dhanurjaya Mohapatra said
The body was recovered later after the bear was put to sleep with the help of forest rangers. Forest officials promised to pay the compensation for Mr Bhatara death.
This is the third incident that took place this year which involves taking Selfie with wild beasts in the eastern Indian state of Odisha. Earlier this year two more people lost their lives after they tried to take a Selfie with elephants.
