Whatsapp to end its service for a number of smartphones.

It is quite shocking for users who will not be able to use WhatsApp in their smartphones from now. The list is considered of some famous and often use smartphones which are deliberately used worldwide.

This was the contingent way of announcing the end of old smartphones who are not able to subsist WhatsApp current updates and features. Since Company has planned to customize WhatsApp with more rigid and distinctive features which old smartphones are not capable of.

The company cleared the air and claimed that in near future some devices will not be able to run WhatsApp. In 2018 end, WhatsApp will not run in any of old and outdated devices.

Owner Mark Zuckerberg made this information visible through his website where they mentioned that “Upcoming capabilities and features of Whatsapp if you use one of these affected mobile devices, we recommend upgrading to a newer iOS version or to a newer Android running OS.”

Here is the list of the mobiles where WhatsApp will stop functioning soon.

Nokia: Nokia Asha series will not get new updates and no new registrations will be allowed in WhatsApp through this phone. It also includes Nokia Symbian S60 platform.

Android: Smartphones with Android 2.1 and Android 2.2 will have to compromise over this messaging app.  

Blackberry: Users with phones running on Blackberry OS, Blackberry10 and older will not be able to run WhatsApp.

Windows Phone: Apparently users with Windows 8.0 and Windows 7.0 will also not be able to enjoy WhatsApp services in near future.

iPhone: old iPhones sets like iPhone 3Gs and devices that run on iOS6 are also not able to run WhatsApp.

Although, WhatsApp has allowed transferring the chats and other media collection to new sets if users wish to do so
